Before leaving home you will be supplied with a binder containing lecture hand-outs, a few core original papers and three or four textbooks in diving medicine and physiology. We take the pride of supplying you with written material having practical value for later use.  It is not a prerequisite to read all of this before the course starts. If you briefly review the submitted material, you will probably achieve the most of the course.
