Trips and activities
The course price includes a few social activities. These are scheduled
individually for each year, but will typically include a trip to a nearby
fishing village, a trip to the capital (Male) (usually including a visit to the
Indira Ghandi Memorial hospital there) and a fishing trip. However you, or
your family, may chose to participate on anyone of the activities listed below,
arranged by the resort. These trips are not included in the course fee, and
approximate cost per person (per Nov 2003) is indicated in brackets.
- Male ferry by local boat (Dhoni) or speed boat (USD 16-20)
- Sunset cruise (Dhoni) (USD 20)
- Night fishing 2h (USD 26)
- Half day (3,5h) or full day (8h) island hopping (USD 30)
- Night fishing and beach BBQ (5h, USD 38)
- Big game fishing (8h: USD 800; 4h: USD 450)
- Glass bottom boat (1/2h USD 15)
